Connection timed out in JBoss EAP with LDAP

Issue

  • When we try to start the JBoss EAP service or connect with JBoss CLI, we are geting below error

    Caused by: java.net.ConnectException: WFLYPRT0023: Could not connect to remote+https://999.999.999.999:9443. The connection timed out
    at org.jboss.as.protocol.ProtocolConnectionUtils.connectSync(ProtocolConnectionUtils.java:135)
    at org.jboss.as.protocol.ProtocolConnectionManager$EstablishingConnection.connect(ProtocolConnectionManager.java:259)
        at org.jboss.as.protocol.ProtocolConnectionManager.connect(ProtocolConnectionManager.java:70)
    at org.jboss.as.server.mgmt.domain.HostControllerConnection.openConnection(HostControllerConnection.java:128)
    at org.jboss.as.server.mgmt.domain.HostControllerClient.resolveBootUpdates(HostControllerClient.java:112)
    at org.jboss.as.server.mgmt.domain.ServerBootOperationsService$1.run(ServerBootOperationsService.java:68)
    
  • The JBoss EAP Management Console page is working, but it shows a page asking to connect to a managed domain or standalone controller
