sudo requires invoking user’s password by default in Red Hat Enterprise Linux
Issue
- In RHEL 8 and RHEL 9, the default
sudoconfiguration requires the invoking user's password when executing privileged commands. This behavior applies unless one of the following options is explicitly configured in thesudoersfile:!rootpw / !targetpw / !runaspw
