SAP HANA upgrade planning document stated "Do not unmount the SAP HANA file systems, as these are required for detecting if SAP HANA is installed and the version of the installed system".

SAP HANA filesystems /hana/data, /hana/log and /hana/shared are hosted on NFS share.
