Defining failure domains for OpenShift 4 in vCenter

Issue

  • Topology labels are not added to Nodes in a newly created cluster if only one failure domain is defined.
  • Nodes not showing zone and region labels after a single failure domain is defined after cluster initialization.
  • Machines and Nodes not showing labels after changing infrastructure object to add failure domains after cluster provisioning.
  • Storage operator throws the following error after adding a new datacenter:

    main.go:101] Received NotifyRegistrationStatus call: &RegistrationStatus{PluginRegistered:false,Error:RegisterPlugin error -- plugin registration failed with err: rpc error: code = Internal desc = failed to retrieve topology information for Node: "node_name". Error: "failed to retrieve nodeVM \"xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx\" using the node manager. Error: virtual machine wasn't found",}
