Can we overcommit hugepages ?
Issue
- Is it possible to overcommit the hugepages ?
- We need to overcommit the 1GB size of hugepages but we are getting following error:
-bash: echo: write error: Invalid argument
- How to setup /proc/sys/vm/nr_overcommit_hugepages so that extra 1G size of hugepages can be allocated if we exceed the base limit' ?

- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10
- X86_64 architecture based CPUs
