Unable to modify password with error "CURRENT PASSWORD IS INCORRECT" in Developer Portal

Issue

After logging into the Developer Portal, I clicked the edit button in SETTINGS > USERS to change my password, but when I clicked “Update Personal Details,” an error message appeared saying CURRENT PASSWORD IS INCORRECT like the following and the change failed.

How can I update my password without the error?
