Apache performance issues with LDAP authorization

Issue

• Upon successful login, an intermittent issue may occur. Rather than the application loading, it gets stuck on a grey screen. Occasionally it will then time out with a 500 response, whilst on other occasions it will automatically begin working again, & load the application after 5/6 minutes.
