[RHOCP 4] Is it possible to disable metrics exposed at `:15090/stats/prometheus` on Istio Proxy Sidecar?
Issue
- Can we completely disable the metrics exposed at the endpoint
localhost:15090/stats/prometheuson the Istio sidecar proxy (istio-proxy)? - This endpoint is used by Prometheus to scrape Envoy-specific metrics. Some users may want to restrict or eliminate access to this due to some reasons.
