Authentication failures with dovecot using PAM (pam_sss).
Issue
- Users experience authentication failures with
dovecotusing PAM (pam_sss) where repeated login attempts result in:
Disconnected: Connection closed (auth failed, 9 attempts in 65 secs)
- Despite restarting
dovecotorpostfix, the issue persists until the server is rebooted.
