RHEL9 kernel crashed after WARNINGS ...mlx5e_page_release_fragmented.isra.... [mlx5_core]

Issue

  • RHEL nodes keep restarting with kernel logs full of the below warnings:

    WARNING: CPU: 23 PID: 0 at include/net/page_pool/helpers.h:131
mlx5e_page_release_fragmented.isra.0+0x46/0x50 [mlx5_core]

  • Nodes gets to kernel panic status with one of the traces below:

    BUG: Bad page state in process curl pfn:21640c5

    kernel BUG at net/core/skbuff.c:3249!

  • I've got a RHOCP environment which is also affected by the above issue
