OCP4: Custom routes created by machine-config are not deleted automatically when deleting the machine-config object

Issue

  • After removing MachineConfig for Static Route, the nodes restarted into new rendered config but we are still seeing the static routes on the nodes.

  • Example static routes:

10.xx.xx.166 via 172.xx.xx.254 dev ens192 proto static metric 99 
10.xx.xx.3 via 172.xx.xx.254 dev ens192 proto static metric 99 
10.xx.yy.3 via 172.xx.xx.254 dev ens192 proto static metric 100
