[CNV] Expanding VM disk (PVC) doesn't reflect size in VM summary page but the PVC is expanded in storage.

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • Increasing a disk ( VirtualMachines -> Configuration -> Storage -> Edit) in Openshift virtualization shows an error:
datavolumes.cdi.kubevirt.io "dv-mydv-myvm-cxxxxah-20" already exists
  • The size actually increases on the PVC after VM's live-migration.
  • Also, the summary size page on the disk never shows the new space. Migrating VM and restarting it doesn't help to show the increased size.
