httpd proxy provides immediate 100-continue response

Issue

If we access our backend destination server, it does not provide a 100-continue response. But when requesting it through httpd with mod_proxy, httpd is always adding a 100-continue response immediately, which causes issues with our client. Can this 100-continue response be disabled?
