Issue

  • The machine-config-daemon operator is in crashloopback.

  • The machine-config-operator is complaining about an issue like this:

    Error performing safety controllerconfig sync: Our version (v4.16.0-202501281935.p0.g9e721f0.assembly.stream.el9-dirty) differs from controllerconfig (v4.16.0-202407101706.p0.gd70a17f.assembly.stream.el9-dirty), can't do 'safety' controllerconfig sync until controller is updated
