Mirror Registry for OpenShift is stuck on a TASK during upgrade

Issue

  • We tried upgrading the mirror registry and it got stuck in the below step for more than 45mins. Have cancelled the command after verifying the version status in UI.
    TASK [mirror_appliance : Take a pg_dump of the data from running quay-postgres container] ***************************

  • What steps need to be performed from this point? Since the process was canceled, should we take any manual actions? The quay-postgres-backup folder is empty.

  • Are there any flags to skip the stuck TASK and continue the playbook ?

    • 3.13.x and lower
