  • The following error appears when remounting an NFS share using the root_squash option: 
mount.nfs: access denied by server while mounting (null)

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
  • NFS exports with root_squash option
