Unable to reinstall Subscription-Manager and it's dependency packages on RHEL 8

Issue

  • Accidentally removed critical system packages including subscription-manager

  • Failed to reinstall subscription-manager using yum or dnf with the following error due to Red Hat repositories are missing:

     $ yum reinstall subscription-manager
  No match for argument: subscription-manager
  Error: Unable to find a match: subscription-manager
