  • Server resets immediately as soon as echo c > /proc/sysrq-trigger is used?
  • Why does kexec command resets the server instead of switching to new kernel?

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.10
  • AMD CPUs (i.e: AMD EPYC 9654P, 9274F, 9224, 9124 and etc)
  • DL380 Gen10+, DL345 Gen11, DL325 Gen11, Lenovo SR665 V3, PowerEdge R6615, etc
