ACM and MCE fails to upgrade with the error ConsolePlugin Error: .spec.proxy[0].authorization: field not declared in schema

Issue

  • When RHACM is upgraded to 2.10/2.11, MCE fails with the following error:

    error applying object Name: mce Kind: ConsolePlugin Error: .spec.proxy[0].authorization: field not declared in schema

Environment

  • Red Hat Openshift Container Platform (OCP) 4.17
  • Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes (RHACM) 2.9 - 2.11
  • Multi Cluster Engine (MCE) 2.5 - 2.6
