Issue

  • Attempting to upgrade or install OpenShift Virtualization on a bare metal hosted cluster is not progressing. The following virt-operator-strategy-dumper job pod in the openshift-cnv namespace is failing to schedule:
# oc get job -n openshift-cnv

Environment

  • Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4.17.
    • OpenShift Virtualization 4.17.
