Issue

  • The following virt-operator-strategy-dumper job pod in the openshift-cnv namespace is failing to schedule:
    # oc get job -n openshift-cnv
    NAME                                                         STATUS    COMPLETIONS   DURATION   AGE
    kubevirt-7904e793b171b18965ecf6d2dbdf12e015439ddd-jobfgbqh   Running   0/1           6m57s      6m57s

Environment

  • Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) 4.17.
    • OpenShift Virtualization (OCP-Virt) 4.17.
  • OCP hub cluster hosting a cluster running OCP-Virt
  • While installing or upgrading OCP-Virt on the hosted cluster
  • Bare Metal
