What are the supported limits for CPU and RAM on HPE Compute Scale-up Server 3200 running Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9?

Issue

  • The current Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 (RHEL 9) supported limits for x86_64 systems are 1792 logical CPUs and 48TB of memory, as stated here: Red Hat Enterprise Linux technology capabilities and limits. However, HPE Compute Scale-up Server 3200 supports up to 3840 logical CPUs and up to 64TB of memory.
