Issue

  • RHOCP cluster in Azure is stuck during upgrade from 4.12.56 to 4.13.41

  • While running $ oc adm must-gather to gather further data, Customer could see the following:

    ClusterVersion: Updating to "4.13.41" from "4.12.56" for 8 days: Unable to apply 4.13.41: wait has exceeded 40 minutes for these operators: network
ClusterOperators: clusteroperator/network is degraded because The configuration is invalid for proxy 'cluster' (invalid noProxy: *.blob.core.windows.net). Use 'oc edit proxy.config.openshift.io cluster' to fix.

Environment

  • Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (RHOCP) 4.12.56 (upgrading to 4.13.41)
  • Azure infrastructure
