• pam package update fails with below error :

  error: failed to open dir run of /var/run/: Not a directory
  

• Getting below error while updating pam package :

  error: failed to open dir run of /var/run/: cpio: Unsafe symlink
  error: unpacking of archive failed on file /var/run/console: cpio Unsafe symlink
