udev "trigger" leads to remove PTP symlinks
Issue
- /dev/ptp_hyperv symlink was removed after a system update.
- chronyd failed with the error:
Sep 6 10:45:30 localhost chronyd[50]: Could not open /dev/ptp_hyperv : No such file or directory
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8, 9
- KVM, Hyper-V virtual machines using a PTP clock as reference clock in chrony.
- systemd-239-82.el8_10.1
- systemd-252-32.el9_4.7
