Issue

  • Fails to load the "VMware, Inc" certificate after updating the system to kernel-4.18.0-553.8.1.el8_10 or later.
  • The issue is reproducible on a VMware VM having DISA STIG security profile enabled.
  • The issue is also reproducible if fips mode is being enabled on the system.

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.10.z
