Issue

OpenShift clusters that have been migrated to OVN-K lose their egressIPs when the VMware NSX AVI load balancer is upgraded and restarted.

Clusters built with OVN-K do not experience this issue.

Environment

  • Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP)

    • Version 4.12.z

  • OCP Cluster Network

    • OVN-K (originally built with SDN)

  • VMware NSX AVI

    • version 22.1.4
