[RHEL 9] Does hibernate supported on linux z/VM guest ?
Issue
- RHEL 9 guest with s390 arch fail to hibernate using
systemctl hibernatecommand. - There is no /sys/power interface present on the system.
# systemctl hibernate
Call to Hibernate failed: Sleep verb "hibernate" not supported
# ls -ld /sys/power
ls: cannot access '/sys/power': No such file or directory
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9
- s390x , rhel9 guest on z/VM.
