Issue while mounting NFS share using the /net -hosts map via autofs

Issue

  • When attempting to mount NFS shares via the '/net -hosts' map using autofs, the mount operation fails with 'no such file or directory' error.
  • The /net directory does not display available NFS shares.

  • Attempts to access NFS shares under /net/hostname/share result in errors.

    # cd /net/nfs-server/
-bash: cd: /net/nfs-server/: No such file or directory
