Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • Getting HTTP 500 at Image Pull - Redhat Quay Error: copying system image from manifest list: determining manifest MIME type for docker:.... in //: received unexpected HTTP status: 500 Internal Server

  • If the image does not exist in the upstream registry (the org/repo doesn't exist), a 401 will be returned by the proxy config which will generate a 500 error in the pull process.

Environment

  • Red Hat Quay 3.10
