system-searchd pod is unable to bind to a PV

Issue

  • In the previous 3scale version system-search was not present. Where should I find information about this new pod?
  • How much storage size should be provisioned for the new PV for system-searchd component?

  • After upgrade from 3scale 2.13 to 3scale 2.14, We are facing the issue with system-searchd pod, it fails to get into ready state, We see following error in events.

     3scale    persistentvolume-controller    system-searchd    FailedBinding    no persistent volumes available for this claim and no storage class is set

Environment

  • Red Hat 3scale API Management 2.14 On-premises
  • Upgrade from 3scale API Management 2.13 to 3scale API Management 2.14
