Is Oracle LogMiner going away, and will this affect Debezium?

Issue

A number have customers have approached Red Hat with the rather alarming news the Oracle is deprecating or removing the LogMiner functionality from its relational database. Since most Debezium installations for Oracle use LogMiner, customers are understandably concerned that Debezium will no longer work with later Oracle releases.
