Issue

  • machine-config cluster operator in degraded state during cluster upgrade with below error.

    machine-config                             4.13.36   False       True          True       151m    Cluster not available for [{operator 4.13.36}]: error during waitForControllerConfigToBeCompleted: [context deadline exceeded, controllerconfig is not completed: ControllerConfig has not completed: completed(false) running(true) failing(false)]

  • Cluster upgrade stuck in between with the machine-config-operator in degraded state.

  • machine-config-controller showing Malformed Cert, not syncing messages.
