How to forward queries for specific domain to specific DNS server ?
Issue
- How can be DNS queries for specific domains can be sent to specific DNS server ?
- Why does DNS resolution fails when DNS servers in /etc/resolv.conf are used for name resolution ?
- How to configure DNS servers on the client properly, so that DNS servers from different regions like PROD, DR etc are used effectively for name resolution ?
- The DNS queries when sent to particular DNS server using nslookup or dig gets resolved, but when performed without specifying DNS server, it fails with NXDOMAIN or SERVFAIL.
