Business central pod not running: "ERROR org.eclipse.jgit.errors.LockFailedException: Cannot lock /opt/kie/data/.niogit/system/system.git/config"

Issue

  • Business Central pod does not work and logs the following error:

    ERROR [stderr] (pool-25-thread-1) org.uberfire.java.nio.IOException: org.eclipse.jgit.errors.LockFailedException: Cannot lock /opt/kie/data/.niogit/system/system.git/config. Ensure that no other process has an open file handle on the lock file /opt/kie/data/.niogit/system/system.git/config.lock, then you may delete the lock file and retry.
