Openstack 16.2 to 17.1 - LEAPP undercloud system upgrade fails

Issue

  • No VDO on the environment, but the undercloud system upgrade process fails, after used the command openstack undercloud upgrade --yes --system-upgrade /home/stack/system_upgrade.yaml an inhibitors ERROR messages appears on /var/log/leapp/leapp-report.txt reporting VDO devices not managed by LVM.

Environment

  • Red Hat OpenStack Platform 17.1 (RHOSP).
