A .desktop file placed on a location other than the desktop cannot be started.
Issue
- Using a self-made .desktop file, but we can't start it on RHEL 9(it is started by TextEditor by default) in any Nautilus location. In RHEL 8, it was possible to start it no matter where it was placed by supporting things like ‘Allow Launching’.
- How can I set it up to start a .desktop file that is located somewhere other than the desktop?
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9
