System boot fails with an error "invalid or unsupported executable format" message with newly installed kernel.
Issue
- When a new kernel
kernel-2.6.32-431.3.1.el6.x86_64was installed on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.4 machine, and rebooted, the system boot failed with an error message as follows.
"invalid or unsupported executable format"
- What can be the root cause of above message? How to get system booted with new kernel?
