Configuring a VIP with a Floating IP to Access Instances

Issue

  • The task is to create a Virtual IP (VIP) with the address x.x.x.x and associate it with a floating IP that can be used to access any of the instances in the environment.
    For Example,

    - Environment having below two instances.
    INSTANCE-101: x.x.x.x with the corresponding floating IP x.x.x.x
    INSTANCE-102: x.x.x.x with the corresponding floating IP x.x.x.x
    
    - A VIP with the address x.x.x.x and the corresponding floating IP x.x.x.x has been added. 
    - The VIP x.x.x.x can switch between the two instances, and external clients can use the floating IP x.x.x.x to access either of the mentioned instances.
