APIServer failing while trying to verify candidate authority certificate of openshift-kube-apiserver-operator_kube-control-plane-signer

Issue

kube-apiserver-check-endpoints container tries to access the kube-apiserver, the kube-apiserver throws an x509 exception, and it is failing. API Server failing as per following:
kube-apiserver container when we executed these requests:
