RHEL 8.8 tomcat 9 dependencies on java-1.8.0-openjdk-headless
Issue
- Why RHEL 8.8, tomcat 9 have dependencies on java-1.8.0-openjdk-headless? Is this missing dependency by design?
- Is RHEL 8.8 tomcat-9 only supported with openjdk1.8? If so, What will happen when openjdk1.8 reaches end of support in 2026?
