'timedatectl' and 'hostnamectl' command fails with error "Failed to query server: Could not activate remote peer." after starting a third party service (ipmdns.service).

Issue

• timedatectl and hostnamectl command fails to run after running third-party service (ipmdns.service).
• Below is the error while running timedatectl.

# timedatectl 
Failed to query server: Could not activate remote peer.

• We also see below services in failed state.

[root@host ~]# systemctl --failed
