  • kdump fails to generate vmcore on NFS share because dracut halts the system in pacemaker clustered environment:

[    1.226123] dracut: Refusing to continue

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
  • NFS share is used as dump target.
  • IP aliasing is done(eth0 and eth0:1).
  • Pacemaker cluster. fence kdump node is added.
  • NFS share has route set to source ip of eth0 and fence kdump node has route set to source ip of eth0:1.
