How to import the image for toolbox manually to a node on OpenShift 4.x
Issue
- It may be necessary to acquire a SOSreport for one or more of your nodes to aide in debugging your OpenShift Platform
- If your node does not already have the
toolboximage available locally from a previous toolbox command run on that host, it may be problematic/difficult to run a sosreport if it cannot source the image due to networking concerns. (toolbox image: registry.redhat.io/rhel8/support-tools:latest) - How to copy a container image between nodes, or how to import a container image for local execution?
Environment
- Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (RHOCP) 4.x
- Node networking impacted but host nodes are still reachable via virtual console or secondary address.
- Cannot pull registry.redhat.io/rhel8/support-tools:latest directly to node or from local repository
