Issue

  • On RHEL8 systems, on reboot we get the following error in /var/log/messages on boot "systemd-sysctl[xxx]: Couldn't write '500' to 'fs/xfs/xfssyncd_centisecs', ignoring: No such file or directory". the value reported by sysctl is correct, but I wanted to confirm if this is actually being used.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8
  • systemd-sysctl.service
