JWS Tomcat RPM does not use alternative configured java

Issue

  • We have multiple OpenJDK rpms installed with JWS rpms. We adjusted our java alternative to a new JDK, but JWS is still running with another different JDK when starting via systemctl.

Environment

  • JBoss Web Server (JWS) 5
    • Tomcat 9.0.x
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
