Image-registry POD taking too long to restart

  • The image-registry POD is taking several minutes to restart
  • There are a lot of files and/or empty folders in the registry.

  • Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (RHOCP)
    • 4
  • Image-registry with a Persistent Volume.
