Issue creating policy with the relative path of the Image Registry in RHACS

Environment

  • Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security 3

Issue

  • Creating RHACS policy to allow pull image from known registry so it will deny to pull image from unknown registry using relative path instead of full name of repository during application deployment is not working as expected.
For Ex.
Absolute path for repo: example.com:port/cmd/image_name:version
Relative Path for repo: cmd/image_name:version

Resolution

  • This is known to Red Hat and currently engineering team is working on this via Bug.
