OpenStack Cinder Volume Backend doesn't work with WindowsISCSIDriver driver

Issue

  • The cinder.volume.drivers.windows.iscsi.WindowsISCSIDriver driver is present at standard cinder-volume container but it doesn't work
  • The following error is logged during cinder-volume initialization:

    ERROR cinder.cmd.volume Volume service hostgroup@<_defined-cinder-backend_> failed to start.: AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'Win32_OperatingSystem'
