LDAP groups synchronization failing when using a bind password including special characters

Issue

  • Groups synchronization failing at binding phase in cronjob.

  • The errors below are observed when checking the job logs (notice that the error could be slightly different depending on the ldap server):

    Error determining LDAP group membership for "<baseDN>": could not bind to the LDAP server: LDAP Result Code 49 "Invalid Credentials": 80090308: LdapErr: DSID-0C090449, comment: AcceptSecurityContext error, data 775, v3839.
