"ls -l" command in sftp shows owner uid instead of user name

Issue

  • When doing a ls -l command in sftp prompt, the files owner and group are showing uid and gid, instead of the owner account name and group name:
    Authentication successful.
    sftp> ls -l
    .
    drwx------    3 1002     1003           18 Dec 11 16:27 dir1/
    drwx------    3 1002     1003           17 Dec 11 16:25 dir2/
